Akihabara:
Akihabara is two stations north of Tokyo
Station, and 15 minutes away from the hotel. It is famous for its electronic
stores and otaku (diehard fan) culture. There are hundreds of electronics
stores that stock the latest TV models, cameras, mobile phones and event used
electronic goods. Several stores specialise in anime, manga, retro video games
and related items, whose popularity has ballooned over the last couple of
decades. Fans of this genre of entertainment cannot help but visit Akihabara

Ginza:
For an upmarket, uber-chic experience in
Tokyo, Ginza is the place to be. From world-class designer boutiques to

restaurants, clubs, and cafes of Tokyo are here, and it is easy to spend all
day at this dining and entertainment district. Ginza is less than 2 kilometres
from the hotel and about 20 minutes away, by foot.
Nihonbashi:
One of the most important business
districts of Tokyo, Nihonbashi is located at the centre of the city. The name
literally translates to “Japan Bridge” and it is named after a historic wooden
bridge (which has now been reconstructed). Take a stroll in and around the
district and you will come across modern, state-of-the-art buildings along with
some old stores that are still operating in this area; many of which specialise
in traditional crafts or local foods from across Japan. This business district
is less than half a kilometre away from Tokyo Station Hotel and is a walking
distance away from the hotel.
Tokyo International
Forum:
The Tokyo International Forum is a vast
convention and art centre used for expos, concerts and conferences. The
architecture of this building is stunning and it is shaped like an elongated
boat in glass and steel on the outside. The magnificent 11-storeyed structure
also houses several restaurants and shops. It is less than a kilometre away
from the hotel and can be reached by foot, taxi, cycle, or bus within a few
minutes.
Asakusa:
The Asakusa district in Taito, Tokyo is
the ideal place to experience and soak in the rich cultural heritage of Japan.
Said to be the centre of Edo cultural renaissance, Asakusa was an entertainment
hub for rich traders. It is dotted with some of the oldest Buddhist temples,
the 7th century built Sensoji temple being the oldest and most popular one. The
district is best explored on foot and one can enjoy local cuisines, traditional
crafts and buy unique souvenirs. Asakusa can be reached via the Asakusa train

Odaiba:
This is a popular entertainment and
shopping district on the Toyko Bay. It is built on a manmade island and is quite
popular among foreign tourists. You can find shopping malls, restaurants, and
entertainment centres all within the vicinity. The Odaiba Seapark, Fuji TV
building, Rainbow Bridge, Aquacity and Palette Town are the most frequented
sites on the island. Situated about 10 kilometres from Tokyo Station Hotel,
Odaiba is easily accessible by taxi, train or bus.
Ryogoku:
The Sumo tradition is uniquely Japanese
and when in Tokyo, you cannot miss visiting Ryogoku. The RyĆgoku neighbourhood
in Sumida is considered the centre of Sumo world. It is popularly known as Sumo
Town too. Sumo tournaments are regularly held at the many sumo stadiums and
stables (where sumo wrestlers live and train) in the area. Chanko Nabe refers
to the staple food of sumo wrestlers and many restaurants offer this on their

Ryogoku can be reached in about 20 minutes by train, or 15 minutes by taxi from
Tokyo Station Hotel.
Tokyo Dome:
The Tokyo Dome is an important venue for
international music concerts, important public events and is also the home
ground of the Yomiuri Giants baseball team. It is located within the Tokyo Dome
City, a leisure complex featuring gardens, saunas, relaxation pools,
restaurants, and an amusement park. The site is less than 5 kilometres from
Tokyo Station Hotel and is well connected by taxi and buses. Whether on
